How the "Quests to Success" Curriculum works

Our Quests can be thought of as the beaten track our learners are on. Each moves in the same direction and every quest is a safe place to learn, but they move at different speeds and can follow different routes.​

“The Backpack” is where we pack and prepare for our quest to help steer our learners down the right track along the quest. The Backpack identifies all of the aspects we need to engage in to be a well-rounded individual. It is how we take control of our adventure.​

The support we receive along the way can be seen as the equipment which help us along our track to completing the quest. Each quest heads in the same direction but some quests require more  equipment in their bag than others. These equipment tools make sure that learners have the support they need to continue their quest. The support ensures that learners have what they need to engage them in learning and ensure progress is made, supporting them to reach their end destination, whatever that may be.​

Nothing stops learners travelling onto different quests and being supported by additional equipment. This prevents any learner being limited by the curriculum quest they are on. We understand at the provision that learners face many different challenges, just like the challenges explorers face on their groundbreaking expeditions . Our role is to remove these barriers to enable our learners to navigate the beaten track safely to their next destination (life beyond Being Me Education).​
