We are delighted to announce that our new Alternative Provision base in Cambridgeshire will be opening in January.
Although we are not yet officially open, we are now beginning our consultation process for prospective learners and their families. This early engagement gives us the opportunity to understand each learner’s individual needs, strengths, interests and aspirations, and to explore how our provision may best support them.
If you are a parent, carer, professional, or referring organisation considering our provision for a learner, we would be pleased to hear from you and arrange an initial consultation.
Our doors may not be open just yet, but our journey starts now.
We look forward to connecting with families and professionals across Cambridge and preparing to welcome our learners in January.

Being Me Education Ltd is a short-term, preventative alternative provision focused on helping young people quickly reintegrate back into mainstream education, rather than remaining in alternative settings long-term.
Our approach is unique in that we work both with pupils and alongside schools—supporting vulnerable students at risk of exclusion, poor attendance, or mental health challenges, while also developing local teaching practice to create lasting impact within mainstream settings.
We help students already on roll to stay in education, building their confidence, resilience, and readiness to return successfully. In addition, we can screen and assess pupils not currently in education, identifying the most suitable school or provision to ensure the right placement from the outset. We do this with a combination of tailored subject focused interventions and project-based learning where we work closely with the local community.
By combining education, life skills, and mental health support, we provide a targeted, reintegrative model that prevents unnecessary placements in long term alternative provision and keeps more young people thriving in mainstream education.
Learners Profile
(Covid, experienced bullying or other trauma, experiencing difficult/complex life circumstances)
Learners with these profiles thrive in a safe environment with trusted consistent adults. This relational approach allows the opportunity for young people to develop predictable and supportive relationships. This provides a strong foundation on which they can engage in reflecting and creating a tool kit so they can best support themselves in school and in the “real world”.
As a provision, we understand that our learners may have unidentified additional educational needs. If these needs require more exploration or support, we will work with other agencies and professionals to provide the best provision possible.
